Meet the Authors
Debbie Kirkland resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband of over forty years. They have three grown children and a black standard poodle named Captain. Debbie works part-time doing the bookkeeping for her husband’s business and enjoys leading a Women in Leadership Development class at her church. Her passion for Jesus and the Word of God shines through in her devotional writing, where she mentors women in their relationship with the Lord and explores various Bible methods to deepen their understanding.
Michelle Jackson discovered the Lord later in life and experienced God’s nearly tangible presence during moments of profound loss and despair. Through more than thirty years of marriage, raising boys, and advancing in her full-time career, she has witnessed God’s faithfulness. With a degree in journalism from the University of Texas, Michelle has a love for words, particularly those rich and complex expressions found in the Bible. She is excited to participate in initiatives like 'Meet the Authors' and share her journey through Ravenous Books, emphasizing the importance of Bible study in her life.
